The next International Council will take place in Barcelona, Spain, from 9 to 13 June 2008.
In Colombia, a new national Council was elected during the General Assembly held in Bogota, from 12 to 15 October 2007: Mrs. Leonor de Lozano was elected President. She replaces Mrs. Miriam Diaz Camargo who has completed her two-term mandate of 4 years.
In Germany, Mrs. Irme Stetter-Karp, Adviser to the Episcopal Chancellery of the Rottenburg-Stuttgart diocese, was elected President of IN VIA. She succeeds Mrs. Anni Jülich who held this post for 13 years.
An important Forum of the Catholic International Organizations, convened by the Holy See, will take place in Roma from 29 November to 2 December 2007. The aim of this Forum is to find together new methods of collaboration between these Organization for a better presence within the international Organisms.
Mrs. Jill Marie Sen is the ACISJF – IN VIA Representative to the United Nations in New York. She actively participates in the Working Group on Girls.
