History of the HEART'S VOICE

The association The Heart's Voice, formerly called, Women's Association for Saving Young People and Street Children, (WASYPSC--AFSJER in French), was created on
1 May 1987 by a group of Christian women.

AFSJER changed its name in May 2002 to take into account experience acquired in the field, and because its activities went largely beyond the point of departure, with regard to its members as well as to the beneficiaries of its activities.

Created in 1987, the Heart's Voice was guided by two administrative bodies: the General Assembly and the Executive Board; it contains various working commissions:
-health commission
-school and professional training commission
-family follow-up commission
-social-cultural commission
